Advantage

Medicare Advantage, also commonly referred to as Part C, provides Medicare beneficiaries with the same coverage as Original Medicare and may include additional benefits. There are several Advantage Plans to choose from: HMO, PPO, MSA, PFFS, & SNP.

Supplements

Medicare Supplements, often referred to as Medigap, supplement Original Medicare by covering costs such as coinsurance, copayments, and deductibles. You can choose from any of the ten plans: A, B, C, D, F, G, K, L, M, and N, but keep in mind that each plan covers a different percentage of out-of-pocket costs.

Drug Coverage

Medicare Part D is Medicare’s prescription drug coverage plan. If you are enrolled in Original Medicare, you can purchase Part D as a standalone plan. With Medicare Advantage, you can enroll in a plan that offers prescription drug coverage as an added benefit. Paulo Echer

Paulo Echer was born in Brazil and grew up in New York. He moved to Tampa, Florida in 2010, and loves exploring new spots in the city.  Paulo has over a decade’s experience with the American health insurance market, including Medicare health insurance products, and has been working with seniors even longer. His passion is helping seniors and their families obtain the benefits they are entitled to. His pastimes include gardening, cooking different dishes, spending time with his family and friends, and hanging out with his two rescue dogs Lola and Bob. 

Shane Fletcher

Shane Fletcher began his career as a licensed insurance agent in 2011 specializing in life insurance, retirement planning and risk management.  In 2019 he focused his attention on Medicare health insurance and helping seniors to obtain additional benefits, lower their costs, and increase peace of mind in retirement.

Shane has a M. S. business degree from Michigan State University, and specializes in management, strategy, and leadership. He also has a B. A. in Mass Communication from the University of South Florida where he graduated with honors.

In his free time, Shane spends his time with his family, and has hobbies that include fitness, music, traveling, dining, and volunteering with various nonprofit organizations locally and nationally.

Alfredo Diaz

Alfredo Diaz was born in Lima, Peru and moved to the United States at just 5 years old. He is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. With several years of experience as a licensed insurance agent, Alfredo has an extensive background in helping seniors with their Medicare health insurance options. Before he stated his insurance career, Alfredo worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist, certified medical assistant, and radiological technician. In his spare time, Alfredo enjoys learning new languages and cooking for his friends and family.
